Sydneys Italian Fruitshops

Domenico Tauro came to Australia from Lipari, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW on 30 January 1912 and opened a fruit shop at 410 Moore Park Road, Sydney between 1912 and 1916.

Giuseppe Sidoti came to Australia from Salina, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW in 1910 and opened a fruit shop at 205 Oxford Street, Sydney between 1910 and 1916.

Carmelo Sidoti came to Australia from Salina, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW in 1902 and opened a fruit shop at 205 Oxford Street, Sydney between 1902 and 1916.

Frances Schibeci came to Australia from Lipari, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW in 1892 and opened a fruit shop at 106 William Street, Sydney between 1892 and 1916.

Natole Salvatore came to Australia from Salina, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW on 1 January 1905 and opened a fruit shop at 314 Elizabeth Street, Sydney between 1905 and 1916.

Emanuele Re came to Australia from Sicily.  He arrived in NSW on 21 March 1913 and opened a fruit shop at 44 Erskine Street, Sydney between 1913 and 1916.

Giovanni Profilio came to Australia from Lipari, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW on 27 January 1911 and opened a fruit shop at 410 Park Street, Sydney between 1911 ad 1916 as well as working at Market Street, City and John Street, Lidcombe.  He left Australia in 1928.

Giovane Palise came to Australia from Salina, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW on 11 December 1909 and opened a fruit shop at 399 Crown Street, Sydney between 1909 and 1916.  He returned to Italy in 1920.

Francesco Palise came to Australia from Salina, Isole Eolie, Messina.  He arrived in NSW in 1903 and opened a fruit shop at 92 Darlinghurst Road, Sydney between 1903 and 1916.

Giuseppe Paino came to Australia from Lipari, Messina.  He arrived in NSW in 1910 and opened a fruit shop at 86 William Street, Sydney between 1910 and 1916.
