Bartolo and Pearl Butta’s experiences as proprietors of their third fruit shop at Enfield, from 1939-1951, are remembered by their daughter, Angela Perna: The only memory I have is of the fruit shop at Enfield, as I was three years old when we moved there. We lived in the residence of the shop. As a little girl I remember taking the paper from the stacks of fruit and helping to keep the shop clean. |
