Michael Auciello In 1956 the shop was bought by Father Vince Auciello and two sons John & Michael. Six months later Canterbury Road including the footpath in front of the shop was dug up for repairs which took three months to complete. To survive Vince & John struggled on in the shop. Michael got a job with Sunbeam to help to pay the mortgage. Michael would work in the factory during the day and then worked in the fruit shop from around 5pm to 11pm.
