Sydneys Italian Fruitshops

Filippo Muscatello was born 1 November 1904 in Bianco, Reggio Calabria, Italy and migrated to Australia with his son Vincenzo in 1952.  His wife Maria and second son Rosario joined him later in 1954.  Filippo died in Leppington, NSW, 16 March 1990.  The Kingsford fruitshop also had a milkbar, and was open five days a week and Saturday mornings, selling fruit and vegetables to many local Australian customers.
